Tokyo Rose
Tokyo Rose - Japanese American woman, Ikuko
Toguri, was trapped in Tokyo when war broke out. Unable to return to the U.S., she ended up broadcasting anti-US propaganda for a Tokyo radio station. Upon returning the the U.S. she was imprisoned for treason and served 6 years of a 10 year sentence. In 1976, President Gerald Ford issued a presidential pardon to her.
